Macarons with chocolate ganache and raspberry
Ok just a quick post on the new We Should Cocoa monthly chocolate challenge.
When one of the blogs I read mentioned they were having a monthly chocolate challenge I knew I would be up for it straight away, as though I need another reason to make chocolate treats.
The first challenge was hosted by Chele from Chocolate Teapot and Chele chose Chocolate and Raspberry combination for the first ever We Should Cocoa challenge.
Yum, great combination Chele. I made French Almond Macaron with dark chocolate ganache and raspberries. They were super delicious.
Pretty much I just followed my regular macaron recipe (click here for a version), coloured pink and piped a little larger than normal, filled it with chocolate ganace (150ml cream to 300g dark chocolate) and popped the rasberries on top before sandwiching the lid on.
Viola delicious fresh rasberry and chocolate macaron and we should cocoa challenge complete.
this looks good!
ReplyDeleteThese look so darn tempting, pass me one please.
ReplyDeleteYou're killing me here! You're just whipping out one perfectly gorgeous(and tasty) macaron after another!
ReplyDeleteI love your bees too:)

The combination of raspberries and macarons are always so pretty. I just bought a punnet of raspberries today actually, can't wait to dig in!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I can't eat it and ruin it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job, I am jealous of the lovely texture you were able to create inside the macaron. It looks perfect. Great flavour too!

Mmmm. I wish raspberries weren't so expensive here :( Then I could bake things like this to my little heart's content!
ReplyDeleteLove the way you're so casual about just making some macarons - I'm too scared to even try these. Great contrast in colours - they look absolutely fabulous.
ReplyDeletePretty and pink. I must confess that before I had HoneyB around I was never drawn to pink. But now I just love the softness. Kudos.
ReplyDeleteThey look just perfect!
